Like a botanical wonder of gigantic proportions, Stella Nymphaea, Latin for Star Lily, towers 50 (?) feet above the earth as carved from a century old Cypress tree in Northern California. As a lily rises from the depths of the muck, Stella Nymphaea embodies the transcendence of its own humble beginnings. The rhizomatous points of this star radiate out to the celestial bodies above and serve as a perennial reminder of the nature of creation- uniting heaven and earth.
